Everyone has gifts. About four years ago I learned what my divine gifts were and life has been so much easier since then.
In one way the knowledge was very validating. I guess at some level I already knew what my gifts were. But prior to having these gifts actually articulated to me, I wasn’t sure that these gifts were gifts at all.
So just what, exactly, are divine gifts?
Divine gifts are qualities of the soul. They are given to us to be expressed in some way. It is our job, as human beings, to develop and create ways to use these divine gifts in ways that bring us great joy. And they come very naturally to us which is why we often don’t think of them as gifts at all which can lead us to not using our gifts in our work, or our daily life, which can cause great strife for us as we journey through life.
When we are not expressing our diving gifts life feels like a struggle. Those struggles can manifest in numerous ways ranging from financial lack, doing work we hate, relationship issues, addictions, even depression. And those are just a few of the things that can happen when we don’t use our gifts.
We were created to create. And our souls are all about creative expression. And when we are not expressing who we really are, at the soul level, life can feel really, really hard.
There are eight different major categories of divine gifts. Most people have one category while some may have a combination of two. But two isn’t better than one, it’s just different. And the percentages of combinations may differ among people as well as the way or ways we wish to express our gifts, so there is an endless variety of manifestations of our divine gifts. In other words, we don’t just fall into one of eight groups. It’s a little more complex than that.
And thank God for that. All these variations result in a great variety of expressions resulting in a world full of diversity and delight.
Knowing what your divine gifts are can help you discover the best way you can create a life doing work you love. It can lead you to your purpose which will lead you to such joy. And that work will be far easier and more financially rewarding than you can even imagine.
I know this to be true because knowing what my divine gifts are has helped me immensely. It’s allowed me to focus on doing only what I’m meant to do and leaving all the rest to others which leads to such JOY and BLISS, it’s hard to describe.
I felt as though I was stuck in a groove, like an old record that kept getting bumped back to the same place. Janet helped me to discover the underlying patterns in the problems I kept facing. In searching for a cure, I discovered truths about myself that helped me move forward. She allowed me to rediscover my soul’s purpose. I am grateful to Janet for the help she has provided in getting me out of my rut and moving forward.” — Rachel Kiernan
